Dental Worktops in LG Himacs Alpine White

A dental surgery in Telford fitted with seamless LG Hi-Macs worktops in Alpine White, templated and installed by us. The run follows an angled wall line, with the worktop shaped to sit tight into the corner and a raised rear shelf along the back edge carrying two socket cut-outs, keeping power at hand without cables trailing across the working surface.

At the clinical wash-hand position, a Hi-Macs CB422 round basin is formed seamlessly into the worktop with no rim or visible joint. A CS454 square sink sits at the far end of the main run, again bonded so the surface flows straight into the bowl. This is the detail HTM 01-05 is concerned with — it asks for clinical work surfaces to be impervious, easily cleanable and jointless as far as is reasonable — and a bonded solid surface sink gives no rim gap or silicone line for contaminants to collect in.

Coved upstands in the same Alpine White run along every wall, so the worktop-to-wall junction is a continuous radius rather than a sealed right-angle. The wash-hand section finishes with a seamless slab end leg to the floor, a single clean panel that closes off the run and supports the top with no cabinet beneath and no visible fixings.
