HTM 01-05 Dental Worktops Twickenham

Dental worktops in Tristone Fog, a soft light grey solid surface, installed at a practice in Twickenham. The runs sit on white gloss cabinetry and the pale grey top gives a calm, low-glare working surface that hides everyday marks better than pure white.

The main run turns the corner in an L, with a Hi-Macs CB422 round basin in Alpine White at the corner wash-hand position and a CS404 square sink in the same Alpine White further along the run. Both are bonded seamlessly into the Tristone top, the two-tone finish making the white bowls stand out cleanly against the grey surface. There is no rim, lip or silicone line at the junction — the worktop simply flows into the sink. That is the detail HTM 01-05 asks for in clinical work surfaces: impervious, easily cleanable and jointless as far as is reasonable, with any joints welded or sealed.

Coved upstands run along every wall including the inside corner, and the corner joint in the worktop itself is invisibly bonded so the L reads as one continuous piece. A second straight run with its own CB422 basin sits beneath the X-ray arm on the opposite side of the room, again with coved upstands and a return at the window end.
